My one regret about That Asshole having dementia (or late-stage syphilis, or both) is that he’ll probably be too far gone to understand what’s happening when it all finally comes crashing down. Or that he’ll be given some graceful exit “for health reasons” rather than face justice.

It turns out there were two movie-length video releases of episode compilations from this series in the US: The Adventures of Ultraman and Ultraman II, released in 1981 and 1983 respectively. It must have been the first of these, as the second would have been too late. I’ll have to see if I can find a copy…
