I am unbearably torn between being glad that at least there might be some justice in this case of murder by cop, and being disgusted that, as usual, the case of murder by cop that might get some justice is the one involving a white victim and a brown cop.

To be fair, officers carrying guns is routine in most of Europe, Canada and Australia. And somehow there aren’t nearly as many incidents of police shooting innocent civilians as we see in the U.S.
