Specact kits are basically re-skinned character models and weapons with their own medals and insignias. Oh, and Trophy/Achievement too.

I think this will deter a lot of people from pirating. I know this for a fact. I have a couple of friends myself who aren't jailbreaking their PS3s for this very reason.

There are no region-locks for PS3 games. For movies I think there are, but games can be played regardless where you bought it.

This is good news! Banning the PS3 will surely deter some of the pirates. Not to mention the cheaters, hackers, etc.
