It’s so lame that I’m still in the greys. A huge part of visiting tech blog sites is to be able to offer my opinion for correction and/or potential mockery. I just find myself visiting this site less and less as a result.

Is it “newer”?
I love it. Slick attractive interface, lightweight, fast. But it is a privacy browser and comes with compromises. For example, default incognito mode, and when you exit the app, all history is deleted and you start the next session fresh. No sync. Other than the sync thing, it’s possible the rest can be changed in the…
David please get me out of the greys
I was in the Chrome camp until they removed the ntp snippets flag that enabled me to disable those articles that it serves you if you open the app without a previous page loaded. Bad guesses about stuff I want to read, and local news I wanted not to see (propaganda and such). Their support, upon being asked about the…
I think it’s fair that this guy is not in the greys but I am.
Correct.
Oops accidentally watched the whole thing
Alex please get me out of the greys. This is like my 20th comment on Kinja. It’s disheartening.
I’m still not totally sold on that explanation. Why did it fade to black the first time, then, instead of asking for the passcode immediately? I still think this excellent and plausible explanation may be Apple trying to save face.

Ok this “greys” thing is thinly-disguised censorship. According to my profile on Kinja, I’ve never made a single post. Ever.
One day I will escape the greys
RIP being able to unlock your iPhone before you even look at it. I don’t care what the marketing speak says, it’s definitely less natural and intuitive. Both unlocking your phone and using Apple Pay requires more steps and looks like a bit more of a hassle.
You could still have corrected her without being bitchy about it. Such things are possible. Your tone is not likely to help your message get across.
You guys are so chill about getting shafted.
I like the spirit of your comment. But i’m thinking, mmmm, I could have been this guy. I don’t use facebook. Sure I have an account, but it was a close thing. It was barely 6 months before I got tired of it. If I had heard about it 6 months later, I don’t think i’d have subscribed. By then the fad was kinda fading for…
*your Gmail contact*s*
LinkedIn also somehow obtains your Gmail contact if you have it and Gmail open on the same browser simultaneously. They deny it and blame the android app I’ve never downloaded.
