I thought the dresses and dressing up at the Met Ball were to impress other women, not men.

Only sometimes.

I’ve occasionally given money (that I could sort of but not really afford) to people who need it and have told basically no one. It makes me feel good - but here’s the sad part. I want to tell EVERYONE. Seriously. Especially my Christian friends who give to their church but are cheap as hell otherwise. I want people

Before our trip to see her, my sister said “we don’t have tv”. Whatever, they totally have a tv. They don’t have cable or broadcast, but they have roku and wifi. So we brought our iPads because she said she didnt have tv and then got judged by my sister who has TWO iphones - “one’s for work” was her response. Yeah,

I’m not that cool of a mom and can’t ever imagine being that cool, but my junior year date slept at our house in my sister’s empty bedroom and my mom watched like a hawk.

My grandparent were Presbyterian - in fact grandma said to dad once “I hope you find the love of your life in the Presbyterian church choir”. They retired and moved to a town without a Presbyterian church. They became Methodists because it was all about an individual relationship with God - but an accepting of

Because they still believe that Jesus is the son of god.

Fair enough. I also have no clue about the location of any towns or cities in Michigan.

Ooh... so edgy.

I’m not from Minneapolis. I’m from a western suburb. When I’m elsewhere in the world “I’m from Minneapolis”. Same thing maybe?

Or you were bigger. Fat girls got no love there.

I was never thin enough for any of the many stores/chains that are closing now. Schadenfreude out the wazoo right now.

To me, socially inept (hi, I’m ASD), it’s not that big a deal. It’s the kind of gaffe I make.

I dunno. I mean, we all *know* my grandma was unhinged and a crazy cat lady at the end. We’re choosing to ignore that and remember the better years before that happened.

It’s Scott Baio. He ruins everything.

My dad was tboned by someone we all are certain was on her cell phone. She was never charged. With anything. Luckily he lived, but only because there was a cop close who saw my dad fly 100 feet off his bicycle and called for life flight immediately - plus had oxygen in his trunk. Do you know how rare that is? 7 years

That is so amazing.

Been fighting a low-level migraine all day. It’s pretty miserable. Seriously.

I like to say I try not to be racist/sexist/homophobic. And I do. I don’t always succeed, but I’m trying.

At school. And on YouTube. That’s where she heard it. Oh! And Entertainment Tonight. Lots of places!
