Uhm... your writing on Jalopnik, could you clarify if the 12 year old Mercedes is going against Dave Ramsey’s advice or in favor of it? Because a 12 year old Mercedes sounds like a potential financial disaster if something breaks.  Here though it just means you belong.

Robocop would approve, and drive it over the guy who would buy it for a dollar.

He did read it; which is why he made the inverse joke from the perspective of the counter guy at Autozone would say. Which is funny in its own right.

I need this. The conbini has become a royal PITA since a week ago. I hop out of the car to grab a quick snack for the family, and don’t think to grab the grocery bag because its 7-11 not Aeon, and then have to pay for the stupid bag or juggle food and drinks for 3 out to the car.

How exactly does reusing a plastic bag not reduce the consumption of single -use plastic bags?

Shouldn’t there be Grace for people?

Or (if the system lets you) do the one month trial for $1, go into your microsoft payments and cancel the auto-renew, and when it cancels at the end of your month do the $1 trial again. I’ve done it 3 times so far.

What kind of a depraved animal are you that you could even contemplate smoking in that vehicle. You would be far beyond an asshole at that point.

True. I would add though that the writers on Jalopnik have a history of using the platform to build credibility as journalists, are invited to car promotional events, and moved from Jalopnik to automotive magazines.

I’m not complaining. I’m offering a perspective on the image conveyed by the choice to use slang instead of the correct word. Laziness in writing easily translates into laziness in journalism. Journalism for Jalopnik is primarily writing; so, it is not incorrect to say that.

Hey, I’m not sure what ‘grafs’ are. I’m guessing you used slang for ‘paragraph.

Stupid Kinja. It better double this post as well.

As a Honda Fit owner who has driven a rental Camaro; I can understand why you would prefer it.

Are you usually buying cars modified to make 630 hp, but not upgrading everything else? How many cars are we talking here - 1, 2,...10?

I’m not sure gluing the dime to a wall and slamming into it is the image that phrase is supposed to conjure in one’s mind.

“100% of the true value of some of my cars” - Is that because you figure you can resell the tires?

Work faster ! Heated Comment for you ;)

This. Next week his township will be knocking on his door with a judge’s order to sell off his excess vehicles before the EPA arrives.

I’m guessing you work for a toilet paper company.
