People like that are actually incapable of being loving partners. They feel that they are inherently better than you. They seek to control & demean to make them feel better about themselves. It’s a warning sign. Stay away from them. 

Same here - I have a lot of respect for Alanis Morrisette, but I have absolutely thought her music was garbage from day one. I was already a fan of PJ Harvey, and Rid of Me was such a work of genius. Like, if you need raw music that still holds up, from a brilliant woman artist, start working on her discography.

I am a 90s girl and to this day still maintain that Mellon Collie is one of the best alternative albums ever released and that Tonight, Tonight is one of the best music videos ever created. The Pumpkins still have great replay value, though I will admit that “The Perfect Drug” and “Closer to God” are as far as I go for

Meh. I have no respect for any religion, so I don’t get why religion is so untouchable. Other people believe in some mean entity that pays attention to their every movement and thought, punishing or rewarding them accordingly, therefore I shouldn’t carry around a specific strand of beads? Stupid.
