Also a brilliant way to take away literally everything that makes Kamala unique. I don’t want to see her as an adult soldier, I want to see her as a quirky 15 year old fangirl that writes slash fics in her spare time.

I love the “so you boycotted the highest grossing film of all time? How’d that work out?” Feeling I get when I hear people saying they won’t watch a film because of som dumb reason.
It’s about fucking time.
Marvel’s original Captain Marvel was a Kree who came to Earth to spy on us and wound up becoming a superhero. The original Ms. Marvel was a human military officer who got powers from exploding Kree technology.
I’m assuming she wont be in the first Captain Marvel for the same reason Falcon wasn’t in First Avenger, the whole flashback thing. Carol saving a random couple who turn out to be Kamala’s parents would be a way to handle a ‘cameo’, she grows up hearing stories of the mysterious hero who saved them.
One of the few time travel stories to use the fact that people traveling from the future at different moments come from slightly different futures.
Legends of Tomorrow did a good job with it this season
You can’t narrow it down to one episode since it’s all interconnected, but the entire Cadmus arc from season 2 of Justice League Unlimited is one of the greatest superhero stories ever told, IMHO. Whenever people claim that DC’s characters just aren’t interesting or human enough to hold an audience’s interest, this is…
The very first episode of BSG, “33,” is the greatest hour of TV ever.
Not even a question.
Sarah Connor Chronicles is criminally underrated.
I’ve caught a lot of flak from my friends over the years for my adoration of TSCC’s “Goodbye to All That”, but Derek’s last line “He died, John. He died for you. We all die for you.” will always stick with me. It may not be the best episode of Sci Fi, but it’s my favorite.
Every song in that episode brings me great joy.
“Heroes”, when future Hiro shows up and tells Peter, “Save the Cheerleader, save the world.” I rewatched that recently and it still gave me goosebumps.
33 from BSG. Sorry, can’t find a good clip (here’s the cast below), but it’s masterful pacing and constant tension made me sit up and take notice.
Every Halloween, I watched the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode “Fear Itself.” It’s not the best episode, but it’s probably one of the most quintessential Buffy episodes out there: great horror, great action, and great comedy.
The one where Sisko is an olden-timey pulp writer is also an amazing bottle episode from DS9, with a likewise stellar performance from Brooks. I don’t know if it’s my favorite, but it’s the one I always remember first.
I think Obi-Wan should have put an addendum to that message:
“BTW guys, Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader, carry sand at all times. Also, the Emperor was the Sith Lord all along, should’ve seen it coming, hung out with that dude a bunch and saved him a few times, so my bad. Also I slept with Satine Kryze you repressed…
I want to leave work immediately and go hug my infant son for the rest of the week.
A CGI TREE, RACCOON AND THE DIRECTOR OF PG PORN MADE ME WANT TO BE A BETTER FATHER.
