Because he’s not-so-subtly trying to suggest that if he’d been allowed to finish it, Justice League would have been better and more successful. Pretty sure Batman v Superman: Something Something Justice proves the opposite.

>>> “...convinced Warner Bros. that Cavill was the man for the red trunks.” <<<
Superman has the same problem that Deadpool originally had in Wolverine: Origins. The actor is right for the part, but no one else involved seems to understand what makes the character work.
Oh I agree 100% with Shuri/Peter, one of the best lines IMO was Shuri casually asking Banner why they didn’t create Vision’s brain in this specific way and he just kinda looked dumbfounded and said “oh well we didn’t think of it.” There’s definitely potential for Shuri to show up any and all of the “genius-level”…
I thought the line, “Do you concur?” was an homage to Dr. Watson. If indeed the case, it should scratch the itch for a Sherlock reference without being too overbearing.
The “no shit Sherlock” line is a funny thing to read on the Internet, but it’s the kind of line that I would have groaned at in the movie. I don’t know enough about BC; on the one hand, I could see him being that way. But after his junkets with Holland, I’m more inclined to believe he’s a good sport but very introverted.
This only works when we assume that anyone else could use the Infinity Gauntlet in the MCU. Maybe it is just Thanos. Remember, he did the sacrifice for the Soul Stone, so maybe it’s somehow attuned to him.
Being annoyed by a fan servicey line doesn’t make someone egotistical. We all have our different tastes.
The only two disappointments I had with this film were: I wanted someone to say “No shit, Sherlock”
I just think it worn a bit. After all, he uses the Space Gem to leave after the Snap. So the Gauntlet must still be functional.
You beautiful Bastard.
Then he sling rings away with the help of some very good on site practical effects just to mess with Tom.
It is a well known fact that everyone who watches a movie has read literally all of the source material associated with it. It’s why comic shops across the country are going out of business, they can’t keep up with demand.
Barry Allen. The man known for constantly messing with timelines and always making things worse.
Yes, I also wake up some mornings are realize how fun is stupid and worthless.
Well, we’re sorry you couldn’t be here today.
