But let’s face it - a Rimac Race Series would slam-dunk the competition. Anyone know exactly how they do it ? And why Jaguar and even Tesla can’t touch this small Croatian(as in Nikola) bunch of startup upstarts ?!

The ACPropulsion Tzero - without which there would be no Tesla Motors - also produced a towable range-extending trailer - circa 18 years ago. Thankfully the company reluctantly decided to switch from short-range lead acid to 250 miles/charge lithium cells in 2002-2003(no generator-trailer needed)...and it was that

95% of drivers drive less than 100 miles 340 days of the year. For those 25 days when they make longer trips - much longer trips - they could easily just rent an ICE or a hybrid. Self-evident economic sense and environmental sense.

They wanna argue it both ways : on the one hand BMW, Korean Union leaders etc warn that EVs need far fewer workers to produce them and that 75,000 auto jobs could be lost in Germany alone if there’s a major shift to EVs...and at the same time they tell us that EVs cost far more to produce ! Square that effing circle.
