When the country collapses it’ll be b/c Republicans pushed it over the edge. None of these “wedge” issues have any bearing on their day to day lives whatsoever. Yet the party of “small gov’t” seems to think it does and that they have some divine right to tell people how to live their lives. 

The party that is always prattling on about freedom, right to privacy, and limited government demonstrates once again their willingness to throw all those things away when it comes to anybody they don’t like - women, LGBTQ+, Blacks, Muslims, Mexicans, and Democrats.

There are House seats in blue states that are held by Republicans. So voting still matters a lot, even in blue states.

What’s the point of performative actions that are doomed to fail? Or taking a kitchen sink approach that will take years when there are already multiple states where abortion is now illegal? How would this supposed plan not run afoul of the Hyde Amendment? And even if it didn’t in what universe would it not immediately be tied up in the courts eventually finding its way to an obviously very hostile SCOTUS?
