Should have clarified, in the minority among the Jalopnik commenters. I understand F1 isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I would expect most fans of the series would have been thrilled with the race today.

I’m evidently in the minority here, but that was a great race. It had plenty of drama, strategy, overtaking... what else could you ask for? Of course F1 has problems, but they put on a terrific show today. The last 10 laps were as fun as it gets in F1. 

Yeah, the crew having to convince him that nothing was wrong with the car so he would head back to work was a little embarrassing.  Missing metal, indeed.

Most F1 drivers mature over their career.  Lewis has somehow become an even more entitled whiny brat over the years.  He’s an all time great talent, but I can’t think of a single F1 driver more insufferable than him.  And F1 is full of insufferable drivers.

I have never heard so much whining and generally dejected comments come out of someone over the age of 16. His team had to coddle him the whole way to get a drive back to second. I lost so much respect for Hamilton today. It’s not how you act when you are out front, it’s how you carry yourself when you are down that…

Another great opportunity to do absolutely nothing about guns in our country, that way when a punk band makes a joke about mass shootings, we can all get furious at THEM for making light of tragedy instead of doing anything to prevent it ourselves.

Now that the SCOTUS is filled with right wingers we will never get rid of the Second Amendment.  This has been the worst week of my life. 

Well, a few days ago Milo Yiannopoulos told his followers to start gunning down journalists. Obviously we don’t know who the shooter is at this exact time, but if it turns out there’s a connection to Milo, it’s about time to launch that piece of shit into the fucking sun.
