Do not underestimate the raw power of a man eating a folded-up pizza as a sandwich.

A symphony of lies! An opera buffa of balderdash! An oratorio of oratory flapdoodle! A requiem mass of mendacium! A concerto of contrivance! A sonata of subterfuge!
Why does Three Billboards keep getting roped into these discussions? It’s a film about police brutality, not race—although the two are often connected in real life, they aren’t in the movie. Secondly, it’s a fucked up black comedy where none of the characters are intentionally pure evil or pure good; it ends with the…
All I have to say is holy fucking shit, that entire episode was totally awesome, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Too bad the preview at the end of the episode didn't give a date. I wanna see them hang out with Diamonds!
While I understand and agree that—initially—Ruby’s revelation of not being a good solo-stone was cop-out-ish...I don’t think Eric makes enough of the reasons Ruby is exploring her independence here. THIS is Ruby’s side of the Pink Diamond revelation. While Sapphire feels cheated because Garnet feels like it’s based on…
OH MY GOODNESS THANK YOU.
The layout (and complete lack of navigation to features) made me realize Univision wants this site to be their new Gawker. Lots of celebrity gossip with short shelf lifes for clicks. Not so much on the stuff that actually brought AV Club its audience.
To be fair, I think this decision was made for them. If everything is on the same platform, it’s easier for Univision to sell advertising.
Yeah I’ve always liked seeing oldest to newest comments here, and that doesn’t seem an option even with Kinjaimprove. Not good.
Dog bless you my child!
Is there a plugin for preventing triple-posting ?
There’s a plugin that fixes that. I’m trying to find it. I shoulda saved the URL dammit!
There’s only 88 posts at the time of posting this and two things pop out immediately
I mean, why would a website let you know that a process went through? User interfaces are supposed to frustrate you to the point of skipping the comment section and clicking on a new article, not encourage the development of an active online community.
It’s an awful process that only works through trial and error. It should say to click on the link between 30 and 40 times and to make a wish on a dandelion.
The KinjAV Club
Apparently, it just LOOKS like it doesn’t work, but as soon as you try to comment, it ... works.
Merging my Disqus and Kinja accounts doesn’t work. Also, the site is ugly and soulless, like Gawker. I’m pretty sad about this whole thing. :(
I’m not waiting for permission... I say its time for our commenters to crack each others’ heads open and feast on the goo inside.
