That's the most frustrating part of his storyline in the books. Bowen Marsh is such a fucking dickbrain that he literally needs to have it spelled out to him by Jon.

Yeah. I didn't mind the full frontal shots, but I would've used less of them. I think the shot at the beginning of the walk would've been enough. Then spend the rest of the scene focusing on the faces of the commoners and Cersei
Well on a purely technical level, the show is literally getting darker as we start transitioning from autumn to winter. That may be why the bleakness really bled through this season for some viewers.
The book definitely has a problem with this. It's also why, as much as would've loved the internet meltdowns, I understand why they didn't bring back Lady Stoneheart.
You might not want to get your hopes up. Even though he hasn't written A Dream of Spring, Martin has gone on record saying that the series won't have a traditional happy endings. I'm sure there will be some hope sprinkled in, but I definitely think the ending will be in Pyrrhic, bittersweet vein.
But to say that it's bleakness all the time is just untrue.
Speaking of Ghost, the showrunners really need to address the deux ex direwolf situation. I understand that their budget is strapped, but there's no way Ghost wouldn't have intervened there. It's a shame that the budgetary limitations start to detract from the story. Unless I missed something about his location both…
Fair enough, but I personally think there were much stronger episodes
"The string? Nah, fuck that" followed but Boo's "No, it's important" had me dead. I had to pause I was laughing too hard.
I disagree about the Gloria-Sophia storyline. In a season with some questionable choices for storyline progression, I liked the entirety of that story arc.
I really liked Leanne's backstory. I liked how much she actually appreciated *SPOILER*
Yeah, I'd definitely say that Season 2 is still the best season to date, and that a B+ sounds about right for Season 3.
Yeah. I disagree with people who say that Pennsatucky has been "neutered" or had the insanity stripped back. We saw her working, however effectively, with Healy all last season to deal with her anger issues.
I'm also really hoping Natasha Lyonne at least gets an Emmy nom for her episode. She did a phenomenal job, and I wouldn't be upset if she wins.
I hated Aledia's flashback. After the whole Sophia situation, I found it very difficult to find her likable after that. Not to mention that I've never been crazy about her to begin with.
"See everybody knows my people are stage managers, not performers"
Red definitely brings the best out of Healy's character. I really like their interactions together. Although I hope to god they don't hook up.
I miss Nicky already.
Woah slow down there. You need to back that shit up. We're not even close to Glee levels of pandering, self-indulgent, heavy-handed preaching. Ryan Murphy wouldn't know subtlety if it bellowed a perfect belt straight in his smug face.
Yeah I really loved Daya in the Newsletter storyline last season. She really benefits not having to play the shrill buzzkill to Bennett.
