Having binged watched Season 3 after everything's aired, I can definitely say that it's not as weak or uneven a season as people make it out to be. It's definitely still been more uneven than in the past and the flashbacks NEED to go next season because I just fast forwarded through all of them. They were so

Fantasy is fucking great song, I have no shame and admitting that. Quintessential 90s RnB/Pop.

I thought someone told her she could get into legal trouble if she disrespected the interviewers. Almost a contempt of court type situation although admittedly I know very little about the political implications of the situation.

I totally agree about this. I was really excited for Hugh Laurie, but the character just hasn't worked for me. I just don't find him funny or interesting like the rest of the cast, and I can't tell if it's the writers, Laurie, or a combination of both.

My heart is still not ready to take this.

Also, great call back to another episode, I forget which, where he gets confused at the concept of the cloud. I think it was the Clovis one.

Petty though it was, I absolutely loved it. Those deposition interviewers were so obnoxious.

"…and the strength of their earlier scenes together allows the off screen, seemingly instantaneous, dissolution of Catherine’s engagement to be hilarious and utterly believable."

That was such as boss ass line in the book. Bowen Marsh well and truly deserved that epic bitch slap.

This is one of the few things I disliked about the Wall plot in ADWD. Everyone harps on Jon's plan to send ships to Hardhome until he literally snaps and spells out to them that if they don't save the wildlings they'll have more wights to fight.

I completely disagree. I thought Clarke held her own against Dinklage. Obviously he and Lena are the strongest actors in the cast, and I'm not suggesting Clarke is up to par with them, but Clarke has sold the hell out of most of the big scenes she's gotten (i.e. Crown of Gold, Pyre, House of the Undying, Sack of

Such a dumb move. He doesn't have enough badges to control Drogon. He's too high leveled.

I think what made the battle so good for me was that they didn't just really on action. They interspersed it with scenes of wildlings literally clawing at the row boats to try to get safe passage and swimming out of desperation.

I think the same can apply to Dany however to a much lesser extent. Much better seeing her as a confident, but slightly unsure leader, as opposed to the wishy-washy mess she was in the books unable to make any definitive choices, letting all her advisors around her strong arm her etc.

Which begs the question - how are they going to get Melisandre back to the Wall to perform the ritual? Is this a sign that Stannis loses the battle against the Boltons?

I literally pointed this out somewhere above. Glad someone else noticed this too.

I thought that might be the route they were going with the decision to speed up his meeting with Dany. It's another good change to the book's storyline - gives Tyrion something a little more substantial to do as opposed to his book storyline.

Yeah. It's a testament to the actress that I really liked her, and was hoping they were introducing an interesting character - especially a female one at that.

Yeah did anyone else think it was odd that Tyrion and Dany forgot to mention Dorne as one of the great houses. Considering their relationship (Rhaegar and Elia being married) I found it odd that neither of the two of them mentioned Dorne…
