I think thats why I wanted the final scene to be different. Romance has NEVER been Korra's primary defining quality. This isn't The Vampire Diaries.

Wow. I completely disagree with those grades. S3 of ATLA was as good as season 2, but it was at least a B+ if not an A- IMO.

First off let me just preface this, I LOVE the idea of having Korra end up with Asami and I love the subtle and sophisticated way that they treated the relationship.

If only for the Book 3 finale! That episode was masterfully crafted from the animation to the voice work to the melancholic ending shot.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but "Legend of Korra" had a phenomenal third season that definitely deserved some recognition. By far one of the most consistent seasons that aired this year. Hope the comments section throws it some love cause it definitely deserves the attention.

I might have to concede that title to Veep, but New Girl definitely makes a good case for it.

Im curious for people's answers:

Obviously I have loved the episode, but there's something that I tend to disagree with that people seem to have picked up on.

THIS. Korra's transformation has been staggering. I was doing a rewatch of Season 1 and 2 and reading the reviews on the AvClub and it was staggering how many comments were about Korra being such an insufferable and unworthy successor to Aang.

Since the very beginning of LoK, Korra has always embraced if not defined herself by her identity and position as the Avatar. Her disowning that part of her is such an effective inner conflict, and her lack of presence was incredible way to undercut that theme this season.

I just need the Korra creators to call Nick out on this complete bullshit. I'd seriously be having a field day.

If Amy doesn't win next year - as much as I love Julia-Louis-Dreyfus - I'm hardcore raging.

Breaking Bad win making up for that Modern Family win.

Veep had a phenomenal season 3.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???

I'm pulling for a Hamm and Poehler win next year. #JusticebeServed.

YEESSSSS

Part of me is hoping that Season 4 can turn this around now that the Brody nonsense is taken care of. My hopes are not too high.

Wholly agree, although shout out to Lizzy Caplan.
