Agreed if only at least occasionally. It helps make the dramatic beats stand out even more, and I think it's why Buffy was so successful; it struck the right mix of humor and drama/urgency- barring Season 6 which really ran with that "Life is shit, and is meaningless" idea
Fully agree. Her acting is very underrated and I often attribute the boringness and self-righteousness of human Elena to poor writing by the writers.
Fully Agree about Silas Caroline. I had no idea that Candice Accola could pull off menacing so well; I was legit as stunned as Klaus was.
