Yeah I mean generally my opinion on All Star games is that they’re exhibitions, so who gives a shit? But if they were supposed to be serious (and they do come up in things like HOF conversations) then there should not be fan voting, because fans are fucking morons.
They’ve apparently never heard of the Streisand Effect.
So, they’re saying all this stuff is CORRECT?
They really aren’t stretched that much. I love the entire look of the truck.
People are going to whine about the tire stretch (wah wah wah dangerous to me and all road users wah wah wah). Fuck ’em though—Hako-style pick-up—beyond would!
The phrase, “well not with that attitude” fits here so well.
Blind Al
He’s in the Super Heroes themes. Not his own, but part of other kits.
And that right there is why I dropped everything and took my Vette to an elementary school “race car day” last spring. I let every last kid who wanted to crawl around in the driver’s seat and signed about a million “autographs” while answering every last question they threw at me. Things got broken, other things got…
I got actively discouraged from taking auto shop in high school. Still sometimes get vibed out in auto parts stores. It’s frustrating, and I’m glad the community’s sticking up for the girl.
Which is why I consider Matrix to have some of the best fights ever to this day. While other movies try to hide the action, Matrix slowed it the fuck down and it still looked amazing.
Honestly, I think it’s because as a female you are worried you’ll be judged if you don’t show up. Dudes just take for granted that they can stay home when they are sick, their kid is sick, or it’s dangerous to travel.
Deadpool Lego!?!?!!?!!
Well, it’s more than just that. Most girls aren’t outright told that females can’t or don’t do X profession. But there’s all sorts of negative reinforcement at every level, and that’s just what I’ve observed. Instead of complimenting a girl based on her merits or her personality, she’ll get told how pretty she is.…
I always think about Jackie Chan when I see fight sequences like that and it instantly takes me out of the action. He has, on occasion, gone into great detail explaining the need for a full wide shot during fight scenes to truly appreciate and take in good choreography. The closer they are to the actor and the faster…
Have you seen “Immortals”? Another Herny Caville movie, the god fight at the end is easily best fight scenes in years. No shaky cam at all. I remember turning to my wife after it and saying, “That movie might not amount to much, but that fight scene is going to have impact with cinematographers for the next decade.”
That’s exactly why lots of films have shaky cam in the middle of fight scenes - the actors just can’t fight or have a tough time with the choreography. The scene is purposely shaky to distract the mediocre fighting.
Do get some salt and/or cat litter or whatever stuff helps snow and ice melt more quickly, and use them, before the snow arrives. Spreading this stuff on your walk/driveway/parking spot is a lot easier and less time-consuming than shoveling. It’s a good investment!
The probability of this guy squashing a post-hugging sloth is just way too high.
