I assume the screen time part is due to blue light? I’m guessing different people are affected differently, because I can go straight from Phone/TV to snooze on about 15 minutes.

Honestly, the only time I use Google maps is when I’m going through cities that have poor freeway layouts. That lane assist is really handy there. The rest of the time I use Waze because it usually gets me where I’m going the fastest.

Ifyou’re using it as a GPS, mount it on your dash like a GPS. Then you just occasionally glance over, which is legal. If it told you the next two turns verbally, we’d have hundreds of people only half paying attention take a left in 2 miles, instead of a right in a quarter mile.

Neither support it. Google uses .kmz I do believe, Waze doesn’t support trip importing. You’re stuck with your biking app.

Waze does speak street names. Go to the voice options and look at what you’ve chosen for the voice as not all voices support street names, which is the same for all GPS apps out there.

Waze does nearly all of those. The next turn is displayed right there at the top. If it tells you as you’re passing your destination, it may be your phone; I’ve solved that problem by upgrading. Waze also informs you that the route is changing to shave off X minutes due to a traffic jam. It does not however tell you…

Move the plug inside of the vehicle (In the boot maybe?) so you can close the door on the cord. Then no one steals your power. I’m sure that’s not a perfect solution, but it’d definitely help.

My HTC Tilt 8925 running WinMo 5 (then later 6) had one of these installed by default. My current HTC doesn’t, AND the bubble says my device isn’t supported.

I don’t really feel self conscious about it. It’s more of a “Damn you arthritis!” situation. I don’t notice it at all during day to day activities, but as soon as I gotta grip something weirdly for too long, it reminds me that it’s there.

I just use Nester. Takes virtually no setup. Not sure if it can record or rewind though, since I have no use for those functions.

I think this is rather insightful. I live in The Woodlands, TX and would have thought that since it is such an expensive place to live, that it would make owning a pet expensive as well.
