Man, I’m only a casual fan who played the original back in the day and while I knew the “remake” was coming, I didn’t really follow it or pay attention but was nonetheless hoping to play it again. This was the first I heard it wasn’t a complete remake and just a portion of the original game (I’m probably the only

Hoping to maybe finish up Horizon Zero Dawn and then I bought Nier Automata since it was on sale. I’m a bit behind...

next up “why do we need pickles or relish when we already have cucumbers?”

I’m still using Waze but am waiting for it to (inevitably) to be phased out. I guess I just like the layout better. They seem to be migrating features from Waze to Google Maps but I’m not sure I remember the last new feature Waze got so I suspect it will go away eventually. I use Google Maps in unfamiliar areas

That’s probably your two-step verification which you must’ve enabled and not yet given access to whatever device you are using. You should have to do it once on a new device....so you’d have to use it on a device that you’ve already allowed access to your account.

GPS Accuracy (at best, at least for civilian/non-military use) is really not that accurate. Good enough for driving and stuff, but it’s not like it’s going to narrow things down to a couple of feet.

Normally for more accuracy, it just does multiple readings and then averages them. So reading one thinks you’re here, and

There are reasons for those of course. I mean, Facebook will send you confirmation codes via text (thus "read your SMS messages), you can call your contacts/friends (thus, read your call log and directly call numbers), being able to record a movie/audio to upload (thus, recording audio).

Not saying there's not privacy

Yeah, this is what I use as well. I love pretty much everything about it (I do pay for the storage though, but I've paid for extra Google storage for a few years now).

It's a shame that Google+ has this big negative stigma around it due to the social side (which really isn't that bad, just not as popular as other

Yep, taking the time to label your cables (i.e. one end saying "Receiver HDMI-3" and the other end saying "Blu-Ray Player - HDMI" will save tons of time hooking it up vs. a picture. And doesn't take that long.

Google Now does all of that as well. The first time Google Now told me I needed to leave my current location (a meeting I was at) early in order to make my next meeting in another location due to an accident between the two locations, my mind was blown. Told me I need to leave 10 minutes early in order to make it on

I had concerns about a larger screen several years ago when I first got one of the larger screens (the HTC Evo 4G). Then again when I got a Galaxy S3. Then again more recently when I got an LG G3.

Although I knew this trick, it works ok if there's only one or two sites doing it. But I've hidden those stupid "I am Kentucky Bluegrass. What species of grass are you?" type surveys constantly, and they just keep coming. There must be 1000 sites that do those stupid things. Can't believe my "friends" are filling

Good article. Google+ gets a lot of flack, but I think many people don't realize it's more than just a social network (that has failed to compete with Facebook). The photo thing alone is amazing (as you point out), but when you add in other things as well (communites, hangouts, etc), it's a pretty good platform. Much

Yeah, a "less is more" approach for the language would have helped (like 200 f-bombs instead of 1800 wouldn't have made the game any less "mature" I'm sure). Unfortunately you're (usually) labeled a prude for suggesting as much, but whatever. I'm barely into the game though, as I've only done 3 missions, but the

I actually just started playing GTAV a few days ago (it was in my pile).....think there was like 50 f-bombs (along with c**ksuckers and stuff) in the opening scene before I was even in the escape vehicle. Kindof turned me off too.

I just thought it was unnecessary. Excessive swearing doesn't really make a game

The point of a widget is to not have to open up several apps to get info. As an example, I can get the time, my next alarm, weather (including 5 day forecast), my next 3 appointments, my "important" stock prices, my first 5 unread emails, traffic to work or to home (depending on the day), my unread text messages,

Probably be better to ask over at Android Central or something instead of Lifehacker's comment section....

Netflix is available on the Nexus 7? I use it nearly every day (previously on my 2012 N7 and now on my 2013 N7). Are you in the US? Maybe it's not available outside the US...not sure.

My paypal account has been banned for a couple of years (and they won't even tell me why, and I truly have no idea. I wasn't even a heavy user...selling a couple things on eBay here and there but nothing illegal or adult or anything). My situation is not unusual.
