I dunno, the freeway scene was relatively well-done IMO because they used a wide variety of GM cars that you’d plausibly see on a freeway in Middle America. Upon closer inspection it might not hold up from a gearheads’ analysis, but at least there’s variety and it’s not just 27 of the same CUV.

NBC’s ‘Heros’ with Nissan. Every time I think of that show I think of the Versa. I guess placement worked. Plus they worked it into the dialog a few cringe-worthy times.

I don’t think you realize how bad White Collar was. They interrupted a conversation to talk about the blind spot monitoring in a Ford Taurus, culminating in the line “relax, this is a Ford Taurus, it practically drives itself.” They included the line “the tax payers love the FBI for using the Ford Fusion, our gas

Bones was even worse for the product placement on TV, having a season or two where everyone drove Toyotas, and was really impressed by Entune or whatever. They even went as far as having a couple characters get pulled over on suspicion of drunk driving for playing around with the lane keep assist or something like

Yeah, but “Robin” driving a Subaru makes sense...

yeah, saying that made me think about all the GM cars from the Transformers movie. That first movie was just a giant ad for the new Camaro.

Another one.

Ooh, that reminds me of the tv show “Viper.”

A friend of mine recently got a vasectomy. He was shocked by how easy it was compared to what a woman goes through to get a tubal ligation. So was I, when he told me about it.

So your saying you scam them by reporting food missing when its not since you said you almost always select that, which can cause someone to lose their job? Good job bud, hope your very successful.

I think that’s still an “acceptable risk” in some Catholic hospitals.

These delivery companies have very rigged terms with their retailers. They don’t give a damn because they don’t pay for the loss, they just don’t pay the restaurant and pass the loss to the restaurants. So you’re not cheating the delivery companies but restaurant owners making a honest living. Pls stop doing that and h

I have a vague memory of reading that in Ireland up until a date that was surprisingly recent, the Catholic church held that if it came to a situation in which a fetus or a mother was to be saved, go with the fetus.  No matter that the mother might have other kids.  No matter what the father thought.  Dump the woman,

calling out the driver on a social media platform where Snoop has 67.5 million followers feels like a bit much

All the other bullshittery here aside (and there is a lot of bullshittery here).
I always thought fetal personhood was a double edged sword (legally speaking) which is why both sides have stayed away from it. Currently, legally no one’s right to life supersedes another person’s right to bodily autonomy (it’s why you

Many doctors (particularly men) already try to dissuade or refuse to do hysterectomies or tubal ligations particularly if they think the woman is “too young” or hasn’t had any kids yet.

Eat shit and die in a fire doug

Gee they would have hated me…I had a relatively early hysterectomy due to endometriosis etc…the ultimate birth control, no fear of unwanted pregnancy. Surely they will try to ensure women can’t get this operation next…

Also, like, if I didn’t want my food to have to take forever to be delivered, I wouldn’t have ordered one pizza during rush hour. If you didn’t want to deliver it in rush hour, you shouldn’t have accepted the delivery. No excuse at this point.

A friend had this happen last week. Driver texted and said “This is too far to go in rush hour traffic to deliver one pizza. Please cancel the order through the app”. Which apparently means that driver and ubereats keeps some of the money. So delivery guy was eating my friend’s pizza and telling him to cancel the
