I'm finding it more believable considering it's 63 degrees in New York right now, when it should be more like 23.

I don't remember a time when A Christmas Story WASN'T shown on TV in December (probably since immediately after it's theatrical release). But the 24-hour TBS marathons started in the mid-90s, IIRC. I remember TBS making a big deal about it.

Earle Hyman is also Panthro.

I saw an article earlier in the year that basically said, "If you want your kid to get a full scholarship to college…start them playing squash." Apparently, there is a dearth of competitors, and yet colleges have scholarships set aside for this sport with low penetration and no professional presence.

I we can have 110-lb Krysten Ritter hurling guys around on screen, we could probably get by with a single buff actress playing She-Hulk.

Exactly this. I agree that the actual JJ theme song is forgettable, but when I read the words "theme song", "Paradise Circus" (the oh-so-awesome Luther theme) immediately started playing in my head.

Yeah, but when you do it as a kid, those teeth don't have roots.

Yes, because you bought it for your son.

Well, aside from the fact that even Ron and Hermione's CREATOR thinks that pairing doesn't actually make sense.

A 7-year-old wouldn't need to "overthink" it because he's not the one that dropped $60 on the game.

Setting aside that these guys weren't testers…

Thank you.

Quinn is like the Darryl of Homeland. Completely ancillary to the plot, but indispensable to the audience.

Admittedly, I was dozing for half the episode (par for the course, this season), but even my wife, who finds this season engrossing, couldn't explain to me why that photo automatically meant Allison was the double agent.

"I honestly refuse to believe that Sharon doesn’t like Channing Tatum."

Or a whole movie that's a modern day version of that scene in "The Patriot" where Hawkeye and his kids kill two dozen Hydra agents with the skills he's taught them.

Agreed. I thought the emotional peak came around episode 8, and build up to the final confrontation really dragged out over the last few eps. Other than that, I loved it.

I expect Star Wars will start with just the Lucasfilm logo.

Shit game, nothing! I still love it, and whenever I (increasingly rarely) happen to run across one, it immediately gets my quarters.

Yes, that Skyhook level! And the soundtrack for it! Fantastic!
