Hahahaha people are still posting shit like this? Next article should be; vehicles equipped with airbags and seatbelts strangle and kill more people than vehicles without. Repost some articles from 1970. Has about the same amount of truth as this crap. 

Right, so, a couple things that I cannot believe still have to be explained to people.

There are plenty of variables on the road that no amount of planning and driver training can account for. Far too many for a blanket statement like this to hold even a tiny amount of water. 

I don’t own a crossover, but it’s ride height, AWD, ease of entry, and cargo space, the same as it always has been.

Like it or not, companies have the right to defend their intellectual property. There have been examples where they were stretching credibility and other examples where the infringement is clear-cut. 

Having been through some hurricanes where there were widespread and long-lasting power outages, I get where you’re coming from. It’s important to remember, though, that power outages affect ICE vehicles as well because the gas pumps run on electricity. No power, no way to pump the gas.

Gas pumps don’t work in massive blackouts.

I walk five or ten steps from my charger to my front door; like most EV owners who live in houses I have installed a “Level 2" (240V “dryer circuit’) charging connector. Yes, most EV owners (as opposed to people who borrow one for a few days to write a short-term “review” article) charge at home, and schedule charging

Just going slower than surrounding traffic is causing a hazard. Many people in the left lane aren’t even going the speed limit. The problem is not speeding but speed differential. The problems of tailgating or road rage are a different hazard that can be a confounding problem but are not limited to the left lane.
