This wasn’t really a breakdown, but it was possibly more frightening.

I’m not much of a gearhead, and I’m notably cheap. For that reason, I was driving a nearly 10 year old at the time, early ‘90s Mercury Sable wagon in need of more than a little elbow grease, and with crank windows. On this inauspicious night, I found

Could this be considered a derivative work, thereby qualifying for fair use? It is using the original (literally), while causing a change that implicitly creates a meaning/interpretation different from said original.

The “lesson” is that, when writing about life experiences or perspectives with which you have no experience, you consult those who do FIRST. Speaking from your position of privilege while interpreting how someone “would” act is probably a bad idea.

Well, they talked a lot about how it was originally a classic Zelda game (designated items, big dungeons, linear pathway), and how they opened up to new ideas.

Exactly. They’ve decided that boxes moving produce their own locomotive force. It must go somewhere, so it pushes the boat forward.

If we are going to require that something be objectively true in perpetuity before saying anything, not much will ever be said. Our statements are a product of their context and their time. As of this moment, I think my statement is a reasonable one.

Mr Tumnus does not appreciate the snark, so won’t be inviting you for tea. ;]

I’ve not been hit with multiple moons while in combat (I did have one day with 5, though). That said, it’s repopulating the monsters and keeping things going.

I acknowledge that I’m being an apologist for this, but I think it’s a Ship of Theseus (Trigger’s Broom, for the brits) thing: the game announced in 2013 has changed so much (by the devs’ own admission), that I can’t see it as the same game.

Can we just start calling this the best game ever? This gets released on time, with basically no bugs, and is essentially a huge physics sandbox.

Can’t find an edit so putting the fixes in []: “It may be the stance accentuating the hips [that makes me think of Zelda], but [seeing something so close to Zelda as a protagonist] makes me want such a game even more.”

That header image has the (vaguely) female “Link” look I’ve wanted in a Zelda game for so long; that is, a Legend of Zelda game with Zelda as the protagonist. I may be the stance accentuating the hips, but it makes me want such a game even more.

Ah, yes, that makes sense. Comprehension fail on my part.

Just compose your photo so you have some extra border around the shot. Then, in your image editor of choice, rotate the image and crop it back to the desired aspect ratio. Personally, I find this a lot easier than getting a perfect photo straight from the camera.

Granted, I have a bit of a soft spot for deep, twisty role-playing games with hundreds of thousands of words and treasure chests that talk. If you prefer your games to be on the shorter, more-action-packed side, TitS might not be for you.

How has no one mentioned Wolver-fish?
