My guess would be that a tractor beam wouldn’t work in hyperspace. This way, you can attach the cargo you need, jump to hyperspace to your destination and deliver it.
No, the original is in English. But the way it was made is that he inserted himself digitally in two (I think) different kung-fu movies mashed together. He filmed himself saying lines, but dubbed himself over so the lip-flap wouldn’t match and therefore look like the rest of the dub.
Not anime, but I feel like that for the French dub of Kung Pow! Enter the Fist (dumb movie, I know).
He even had sound bytes coming out like “Soundwave superior.” And the cassette door really opens and had one in it.
The real culprits are Sony with PSX. They kept the buttons at the same place, but swapped the functions of the O and X buttons between Japan and the rest of the world.
In Japan, O and X on PSX = A and B on Nintendo, respectively.
It was by far my favorite part during the beta.
I hope there’s enough buzz around it to trigger a new game of the X-Wing / Tie Fighter series.

They just made it being ON by default with patch 2.6.0
The AI also seems to get their items a LOT faster than human players. An easy way to see it is to be behind one when they hit a box. They’ll have their item almost immediately whereas yours would still be cycling through.
Wear comfortable shoes. You’ll be on your feet all day.

Those machines are useless if you have a work visa (H-1B) though. You go through the whole process just to be told at the end that your paperwork doesn’t qualify and have to talk to an agent, which you still need to do anyways.
DLC characters don’t have custom moves.
