Structural Maintenance! It's not just for historians!
Paris should design better bridges then. People are just going to use glass/metal epoxy to affix locks to the glass now.
I don't doubt that they will, I'm just saying they never catch that my phone isn't in airplane mode or that my laptop is only asleep and not powered off either.
The amount of time they'll pay attention to you is negligible, it's not difficult to just get the soda or w/e from them and pour your own in.
Line from a comedy TV show
I read this reply as "Don't complain about being portrayed in a negative light, you're aggravating the terrible people".
I somewhat doubt the utility of a remote wipe feature to law enforcement. A cellphone is evidence, which they presumably would want except in cases where they believe that it would exonerate you. If the remote wipe were somehow capable of creating a full backup before the local wipe, I would be somewhat more inclined…
I know this thread is nearly a year old, but it got linked to in a more recent post and I feel compelled to say that no high school will ever really teach financial literacy as long as loans are required to finance college education.
I disagree, November is the best year for it to be all year round. Plus I could have a birthday every 30 days.
I grew up surrounded by people of every description, so sometimes it is difficult for me to remember that there's a lot of embedded racism in this country. My personal view is arm everyone. Exceptions for felons, certain mental illnesses and members of FBI designated hate groups(Sorry SPLC, can't have an NGO with that…
The probable cause is that SOMEONE IS DEAD and THAT GUY DEFINITELY KILLED THEM! The point of a jury/bench trial is to determine guilt or innocence, that IS due process.
If a police officer has murdered someone, that means a human being has been killed at that officer's discretion. It doesn't mean there were ever consequences for that cop. So many cops get off light, or are guaranteed employment even if they are objectively terrible people.
Which is totally cool with me if that employee is a welder, or a nurse, or an accountant or something benign like that. But if that employee is a police officer that has murdered someone in cold blood on the job, those protections shouldn't be able to prevent a prosecution. Since the DA relies on the PD to forward…
I'm not ging ho about getting rid of unions, I'm gung ho about making it easy to get killer cops off the street. Police unions get in the way of that, there are tons of documented cases of a killer cop getting to keep their job and no criminal charges even if they killed someone innocent with no justification.
People who think citizens have a right to be armed against government tyranny, perhaps with guns, and people who are racists/don't respect minorities as full fledged, equal citizens are not equivalent groups. There might be some overlap, but there's overlap between people who are pro-gun control and people who are…
We don't elect the police unions that prevent all those people from disciplining police departments.
Sometimes it needs to be a bigger fish.
I would tend to agree with you. It seems like it's common among most low-technology cultures around the world.
Just to be clear, we are talking about these things: http://www.followingyourjoy.com/wp-content/upl… ?
