Yep. I think they are the absolute tits but I can't justify the price tag.

Had one of these as a rental, even with the auto it was a super fun car to drive, had a decent but very well laid out interior - same deal with the Mazda 1 (again as a rental) - super fun car to drive, not slow, and they are cheap as hell. So not sure why either.

Dealerships and warranty service that will be around in 5 years.

The problem with the SS is two things:

No, I had no idea they were that cheap - never done any shopping before on them aside a decent used turbo Supra - which are pretty expensive if unmolested. So nevermind :) but too late to change my vote. World still seems to be okay. Probably pissed off some car karma though.

"I'm not gonna lie to you: the first time I drove the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, it kind of scared the shit out of me just a little bit."

Where does one get just the motor (minus all the other stuff) for $5000? You haz time masheen?

This track didn't allow gopros? WTF? For what reason?? I've never even heard of such a thing, its often encouraged as its free publicity for them.

Gee, I wonder how that could have happened...

For the parts alone, its a NP; but as a stupid silly sleeper, its a no brainer. NP, period.

3spd auto? No.

You can thank the British government's insatiable need for cash, and massive import tariffs for that.

If it comes here, it will certainly be built here. Under 30k would be awesome but I think that is a tad optimistic. Maybe $29,995? If they can get to that, it'll be the top hot hatch in the market imo. And it will have a real LSD (looks at Ford).

No, the brits always pay waaaay more for their cars. That's across the board. A Golf R in Britain cost £30,150, and thats base. Yet its base here at $36,595. Those aren't rumored prices either, thats what they cost. And consider that Honda knows its market, so I'd lop 3k off of the above as well (it won't have as nice

Not sure where you're getting 40k from. The new Golf R is AWD, a Turbo, has a VERY nice interior, and isn't 40k. The Ford Focus ST you can't even option up to 30k, so 40k is just an insane made up figure. If they don't want it to sell, sure they can price it out of competition but you're making a case for the business

1. I work from home, so the mileage argument is null and void.

There's a VTEC joke in here somewhere.

Here's the fucking problem. Teams complained about the costs of testing. Yet every SINGLE FUCKING CHANGE the FIA have made has made it more expensive to develop a car. You don't think cramming a dev schedule into making a brand new hybrid turbo motor that's reliable over at least 3 races is difficult or expensive as

Really? He always seemed like such a nice guy.

@1:52 - is that a 1972 Ford LTD? What in the heck...
