Unbutton that shirt, soldier!
Where do I get to sign up for a place where the official battle gear is a bare chested mancake?
Would be nice if you could order any Amiibo directly from Nintendo through a game/app.
I remember when I got AdBlock... it was right around the end summer of 2012. Why? cause if I wanted to listen to a song I had to sit through 30 seconds of the Mitt Romney or Barry Obama trying to convince the masses to vote. Since I live in FL (it being a swing state) it was rampant and there was also all that…
I don’t disagree. I started adblocking when Youtube began showing me 30 second pre-roll ads for videos that were 10 seconds long. The ad was going to be longer than the clip I wanted to watch!?!?!?! Gonna waste my time like that?!?! Really?!? Do I look stupid? Lol.
Yeah, I don’t dismiss DLC, but if you have content that could be in your game on release day, and your game is six hours long and costs $50, and the DLC you are sitting on is 2 hours and costs $15...that “DLC” should have been in that game. Sounds like you just cut out 1-2 missions from the original game to sell to…
People don’t seem to think that. They hate Day 1 DLC as it should be in the game and they hate overpriced DLC. People are generally happy with DLC as long as it’s good for the price they charge, just look at the respect CD Projekt Red and Paradox Development Studio get for their DLC plans because of the fact they’re…
“Most people think we sit and play games all day, but in reality I hardly ever play my game at work.”
I use Adblock so I’ll reply to you.
I pay for an internet subscription, that is all I am willing to invest. I did not come here to watch commercials, if I wanted that I would plunk down in front of the TV.
Any time I go to show a video to someone else in their office, I’m always shocked. “Ads? What is this crap?”
You know there are some adblockers that block ads while at the same time making the site think you’ve seen them (I think Ublock does or did this) that way content creators still get paid and you don’t have to watch ads.
Using Adblock =/= Pirating.
Piracy = “Using the Internet to illegally copy and/or distribute software, which is an infringement of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (or DMCA) in the United States.”
It’s not piracy when the content creators are willingly putting their content on a site anyone can view for free.
Pirating is illegal, blocking ads is not.
Avoiding ads != pirating content, thats an extreme oversimplification. You wouldn’t give up the fast-forward button on your DVR, would you?
I think the only music I’ve pirated wasback in the 90s when it took like 15 minutes to download a song over a modem. If ads were say, 5 or 10 seconds, and secure, I’d give them a shot. However, people have been infected with malware distributed through advertising networks, and ads have become far too intrusive and…
Exactly. As long as Adblock exist and Youtube can’t stop it. This subscription service is pointless. I’m sure Youtube added some extra perks as well but I don’t know how enticing they would be.
I’m too lazy and I don’t care enough to type it out, so something something about supporting content creators blah blah, fat lazy people should be allowed to not get real jobs.
