You know those PS2 games on PSN for the PS3, those are running via emulation which was also said to be impossible for the PS3 to do.

Actually, the Xbox 360 and Xbox One also have completely different architecture. Xbox 360’s Xenon processor has more in common with the PS3’s Cell processor than what most people actually realize. The reason why Microsoft is able to do backwards compatibility is because they have good software/hardware engineers but…
I would love to see him end up at Nintendo. He could be creative to his heart’s content and also give Nintendo a wider range of games that could appeal to a more diverse audience.
At this rate Hideo Kojima and other Konami staff would be much better off at practically almost any other publisher/developer if Konami is really doing this.
I’m personally not surprised but if true, it’s not going too surprising when a mass exodus of Konami staff happens. If I was one of those staff, I would form an union and leak so much bad press about the corporation out to the public so that their PR department wouldn’t be able to clean it up.
Yeah, I keep hearing about that it happens to this day but not as much. I’ve also heard that the reason why the Silent Hill Collection was such a disaster was because they lost the final master code and assets thus they had to work with one of the betas.
Wonder if they still have those original assets. I was surprised by how often assets and the master codes are lost back in those days. Heck they even lost the master code and most of the original assets for the first Kingdom Hearts and had to redo a lot by scratch for the PS3 remaster/re-release.
I’m hoping for the Zodiac Job System version as well.
If I was going to do one myself, I would go with Raspberry pi for higher quality and more customizability. For example, you could make program on it that could control lights, dials and switches on the device. Also, you could make it load up a program when you put in a holotape. The holotape could be read by having…
Even though I have the Pip Boy edition reserved, I would still like to see one that has the screen, along with the companion app, built-in and functions more like it does in-game then being a glorified wrist smart phone holder.
Interesting. Wonder how the quality of this is going to compare to the one that Bethesda is releasing.
Why just facebook when there are dozens of sites doing a better a job?
It got reported on a day and a half after everyone else reported on it. Other sites also made the same logical conclusion and updated again after the logical conclusion came to fruition. It starting to seem like Kotaku is more interested in reporting on more non-gaming news then actual gaming news with all the stories…
No, Yoshiaki Hirabayash has made it very clear that he’s been pushing for a RE2 remake. He said that he was going to take it straight to his boss if the poll was favorable and how could it not be, fans been loudly vocalizing they want a RE2 remake ever since the original RE remake on the Gamecube. He was using the…
More like a day and a half but Yoshiaki Hirabayashi put out poll on Facebook about if people would want a remake two days before that, then with poll results clearly showing favor of RE2 remake the day after which was the origin of the story. All that happened before yesterday.
Try three days, there’s also mess of other stories that they have failed to report on.
I see Kotaku is once again, late to the party with reporting news stories.
If Bethesda doesn’t want to do remake themselves, they could always hire an outside developer to do it for them like they did with Obsidian for New Vegas but this seems like that would be even more expensive than just doing a port for the PS4 and Xbox One.
If your rig is high end enough you can play Arkham Knight but I doubt most people have about $1,000 lying around for those sort of graphic cards. ;-P
The issues were noted by testers and thoroughly ignored by both publisher and Iron Galaxy in order to rush the PC version out the gate to coincide with the console release. The same thing happened with Arkham Origins which was also ported by Iron Galaxy but the difference between then and now is that Steam Refund…
