Being a long time Philly sports fan is strange, self inflicted abuse. So there were a decent number of people taking their deceased with them to parades and stuff or putting jerseys on headstones, because of the long-suffering nature of this city’s sports.

No. He wants a military parade because he is an authoritarian. He wants to be a dictator. We have to fight trump every step of the way.

I could see us all changing our avatars across social media to say something about how the money spent on the parade should be put towards the VA/ending veteran homelessness/PTSD research and support/etc. We have to directly connect the money wasted on this parade to a loss to veterans.

I know one of the victims. the police could have said ‘we’re pursuing all leads’ instead of ‘no, you idiots, there’s no serial killer.’ We all felt like the community was in danger and no one was looking out for us.

The police didn’t follow up on missing persons cases, not just ignored tips. And it’s almost certainly because this was happening to gay men.

The causes many liberals support (like fair gun control) require dialogue. Dialogue is hard and is has been made harder by the likes of Fox News, Breitbart, Donald Trump, etc. I am heartened to see that Moms Demand Action was successful in this case.
