I am making quite a bit on the deal. I bought a 2014 Golf for a steal and will benefit quite a lot from the deal. However, I can’t imagine the government taxing us on “profit.” If they tax on the sale of the TDI, the purchase of the vehicle to replace the TDI and any money made on the deal I will be pretty shocked.
