That's silly A) Because Stanely Kubrick made the list and while, yes he was born in America, he did most of his work in the UK, and B) most of Hitchcock's work was done in the US. ESPECIALLY his best known works (i.e. "The Birds," "Psycho," "Vertigo," "Rear Window" and "North by Northwest.")

Just an FYI: The cut between Brienne and Ramsay is a match cut not a jump cut. A jump cut is a cut within the same shot to either skip or repeat action in the cut. A match cut is a cut between to different shots with similar action or geometry.
