Ugly Betty did pretty much the same thing in its first or second season (though not with a green card). I love Jane the Virgin—just saying that it's not the first show to tackle illegal immigrants.

You can tell it's good because there's about a thousand clones.

I think it's the most memorable though, simply due to the way it subverts the original and the soundscape it creates. But it's definitely not the best, you're right.

you blocked out the trauma :(

it's absolutely awful—the next bit talks about how his friend has "a shot", despite dropping out of college (which directly plays into their experiences, as i think 3/4 of them never finished high school). notice how women are defined by their looks and men are defined by their brains? yeah, their fanbase hasn't.
michae

they seem to be pursuing people with a large-ish online following, so she could try working on that (if she hasn't already)—webcomics seems to be what they source from… if she isn't running one currently, she should get right to it (especially a semi-comic to comic slice of life, maybe w/ supernatural elements if

okay

can't they dust off the old jim henson dinosaur puppets? i mean, they're t-rexes and all, but who cares, so long as it means old lace.

i feel like they just review every review copy they get sent, but don't wanna splash out the extra ten-twenty quid on buying a hardcover—even if it is a Big Event Book

they're talking about the counterparts. you know, ms marvel v captain marvel, she-hulk v hulk, thora v thor, etc.

can you give the list of anime?

hey—as a trans teenager, i just wanted to say i really appreciate this?? everyone's pissing on you because lol jenner said she didn't mind masculine pronouns until she revealed her name (so um… irrelevant?? context ppl)
it kind of sucks that people on my favourite site have argued so bitterly about something that is,

i'm gonna be honest; i haven't read every single comic by alan moore. i've read a good few, but i'm going by a quote from https://slovobooks.wordpres… : "I’m referring to Tom Strong here, incidentally, which is apparently also distinguished by the fact that it is the one title in my oeuvre in which I somehow managed

there's a lot of rape in alan moore. (the only major work of his without rape is tom strong.) it's always distanced me from seeing him as some visionary genius of comic books, rather than just a dude who gets off from rape. watchmen was particularly bad for this, as silk spectre hooked up with her rapist later on.
idk
