In theory, this is a good idea.  But has Bert considered the implications of DOZENS of baseball fans with nowhere to go on a Friday evening.  I think not, Bert.  I think not.

Because it’s the first time they’ve tried to make a multiplayer game with said engine. Multiplayer games have even more potential bugs than single-player games due to latency, packet loss, client-side prediction, rollbacks, etc.

That’s my biggest fear here. The original was a celebration of imagination; it’d be a sad fate to have the prequel just end up as a celebration of nostalgia.
