Maybe this is changed in the movie but in the book, Mickey knows he’s an expendable from the get-go. That was the entire deal. You die, the next you takes your place, they know everything that you knew up to the last moment you “uploaded”. It’s not a secret. They send the expendables into situations where death is

Yeah there was already a backlash brewing, FO76 got a lot of shit but people also saw that as Bethesda stepping outside what they’re good at. Starfield is clearly a Bethesda-ass RPG but since it doesn’t have the same kind of travel/exploration experience people are noticing the sparsity of content a lot more.

I mean I have no interest in any version of Sheldon, but there’s something strangely heartening about the fact that *any* network TV show can pull a mass audience anymore.

Whether or not it’s got a $70 base price I honestly am just not interested in another big live service game. I can imagine multiplayer being good for a game like this but it’s the main focus I’m not as interested. Just give us a modern Pirates!

This is the cause of most homicides in KC. Like literally, “arguments” is the category. People get into fights in crowds or parking lots, one or more of them has a gun, shit like this happens.

Something that someone pointed out to me is worth bearing in mind: Endgame was a perfect jumping-off point. They just wrapped up the big plot arc, as well as arcs for several main characters, honestly a lot of people saw that and probably said “Okay, yeah, that was fun” and haven’t been particularly inclined to see

The thing is I don’t use Amazon for shopping much either these days- the fact that they’ve gotten unreliable for product listings kinda puts me off. And honestly just browsing them is not great.

This has been a problem forever. Back when I had Hulu with ads and they had the original Outer Limits on, the commercials didn’t line up with the original ad breaks because demands for commercial time have changed, so they’d just crop up midsentence and you’d still have these cuts where the original ad breaks were.

She was good on Ben and Kate.

Counterpoint: Speed Racer was a masterpiece

HBOM- sorry, Max- did something similar, you have to pay extra for HDR now.

That’s what they call her for short, her full name is Northby North West

Also I’m pretty sure he died before Kanye posted his “Go Defcon” tweet so uh yeah

I mean poor test screening scores don’t necessarily mean a movie is bad. Plenty of good, even great films tested poorly.

Now playing

While it’s not a solo work I believe it to be a good song for the moment

Yeah but the problem is there is now more pressure to do that than there has been. Everyone in big action movies now has to look like they’re bound for WWE.

To quote MST3k, “I see some very stupid children being born as a result of these two meeting.”

Seriously I watched the video that got him booted the first time and yeah it’s kind of offensive but specifically in that ignorant “We don’t even have anything to say here really” kinda way. (Granted this may be the curse of unscripted comedy podcasts.)

SNL has always been wildly uneven because of its unique boiler room approach to sketch comedy writing, which can punish experimentation and trying to push the formula too far. It’s at its best when the weird goofy shit makes it on and at its worst when it’s focused on being topical.

I mean just about every country that has beer has something of that nature
