yeah, it's always more awesome to play WoW after months/years of not playing it and with a fresh new wave of new players. it's a great feeling.

Every single one of those 6.8 million subscribers should just quit WoW right now and just come back when Warlords of Draenor returns. really, they save more money and Blizzard might even be forced to release new content before the expansion if they notice a huge drop in subscribers.
