Pretty neat, but I only buy unlocked GSM phones. It's not possible to specify that I don't want to be a slave in the CDMA plantation.
My brother works at a major engine parts supplier. He manages the account with GM and with Mazda.
In full honesty, I haven't taken a deep enough look into what exactly happened to come down firmly on one side of the issue to say that GM and its affiliates definitely conspired to shut down mass transit options in the mid-20th century in an effort to boost automobile sales, to the detriment of people everywhere.
Why is OnStar connected to the ECU? I'd think that it'd need just to talk to the BCM and it'd be enough to perform its functions.
Wow, it's bouncy and shimmy even on pictures!
How long is the American list again?
I'll just leave this one here:
That's nice and quite on the slow side in Europe, whereas it's a rarity stateside.
The attack of Canadian cars?
Not really. The emission standards in Europe distinguish Diesel and gas engines, allowing for more NOx and PM for the former, whereas in the US the emission standards are the same for both Diesel and gas engines.
Perhaps not as smelly or loud as yore, but still smelly due to the higher sulfur content in Diesel than in gas and louder, as in like a sewing machine or some agricultural implement, than a gas engine. Did I mention the price premium in the upfront maintenance costs of the engine and in the fuel, far above its higher…
The Volt also has a terrible packaging and the rear seat, though there, is as comfortable as in a 2+2. It's yet another poor execution of a good idea by GM. Not to mention its price-tag, which should be in line with the Prius', even if at a loss, like Toyota did.
