So, Volkswagen problem number one: this brand still does not make a credible midsize sport-utility vehicle. Folks, I don't know how to stress this enough. The Ford Explorer, which is widely regarded as the first hugely successful "family car" SUV, debuted for the 1991 model year. It came out twenty-five years ago.

Meanwhile, over at Volkswagen, you have eight different product lines. There are two SUVs: the Tiguan and the Touareg. There's the Beetle, which is offered as a hardtop or a convertible. There's the convertible-only Eos, and the sedan-only CC. There's the midsize sedan Passat, the sedan or wagon Jetta, and the Golf,

Indeed, it took some 15 years for the Corvette to see an engine as powerful as the DOHC LT5.

By the most advanced democracy you mean Switzerland, right?

Actually, you did him a favor. It was the charitable thing to do, even if it caused an awkward situation and pride got hurt. The worst thing to do would be to let such a stupid move go unchecked out of a misguided sense of individualism. When that guy see the RC-F selling for $10000 below MSRP in a couple of years,

I don't actually think the Fuelshark made the engine use more fuel — I just think it wasn't doing anything at all, and the results I got were in the normal range of variability. In fact, the Fuelshark people suggest testing this way:

This one, on the other hand, is a completely kosher gift.

Say after me: lun-chee-ah een-teh-grah-leh (that's with the R that the rest of the world speaks, not the English one).

Pazzi!

The gearbox is simply planetary gear sets, the selection is done by hydraulic actuators instead of say hand levers. (there are manual Planetary gearboxes that work with a hand lever, circle track and drag cars use them)

"I was super, super angry. I really was angry," said Kimberly Ong. "And, of course, he was taunting me somewhat. So, that obviously made me even more angry. I'm not the most happy about it. But, I could have probably chose some better words to use. I was upset and it's apparent. I don't totally 100 percent regret it."
