I live in the heart of southern/rural Missouri (southwestern, anyway) and have STILL never heard any actual Missourian say “Missourah.” My mom claims that’s an out-of-state-only pronunciation, and I’m tempted to agree. Unless maybe it’s from the bootheel, but like hell am I going over there to find out.

If all the young liberals leave, then the crazies win. That being said, it IS pretty exhausting.
