I worked at a school in Tennessee where a trans woman was hired as a special education aid. Exactly! My family and I often go to kid parties at our Y. We painted pumpkins, decorated eggs and made gingerbread house. All you need to get your messy projects home is some cardboard and a white-knuckled grip while driving over bumps.

I live in Kentucky.  I’m sorry our state is so backward and awful.  At least we got rid of our awful governor, so hopefully things will start changing.

All I know is that my daughter moved around a lot in utero, so it was hard to hear her heartbeat.  I don’t recall if they ever did an internal one to get her heartbeat, but it does raise the question of what if the doctor can’t get the heartbeat during the appointment?
