Can’t blame the toddler. But what kinds of parents let a three year old wander around a car lot (or really any public place), presumably alone? That’s just asking for her to get hit / abducted / in various forms of trouble. A ~$9k settlement is one of the better outcomes from that sort of negligence.

Sounds like the parents have a rocky relationship with that dealer now. I’m sure there’s another dealership with in a stone’s throw that they could go to, and draw attention from a salesperson, so that they can get a concrete deal on a new car.

Focus should be put on the Pathfinder first. It’s super old and ugly, but that’s the most profitable category. There’s value attached to that name, and it can double as a good base for a true luxury offering for Infiniti if done right.

As an enthusiast, I’m not enthusiastic about fun cars becoming increasingly unobtainable.

I think this relentless quest for lower 0-60 times will finally end when the driver ends up as a g-induced lifeless splat against the back of the passenger compartment.

Subaru can suck it. They’ve been building a market base around the green and eco-conscious group at least here in the US, but I hope some of their recent moves capture the attention of this demographic and make them consider taking their business elsewhere.

Counter-Counter-Counter Strike? I believe the emissions/CO2 rules that the Trump administration is rolling back were originally negotiated with CA, so there WAS a national standard. Until Trump got involved. At that point I think the only meaningful differences would have been in zero-emissions vehicle sales

...when a GLS rolls in with a really big waist and those round things in your face you get sprung!

Compared with the likes of the Urus, Bentayga, and Cullinan, this actually looks pretty darn good!
