“Where the %&@# is a Lancer Evolution replacement?”
Former LC200 owner...we honestly ripped out the 3rd row because we valued the extra cargo space over the 3rd row seating, and I know many that also did the same for all the camping gear to schlep around. I obviously only speak anecdotally for myself, but I wonder if that’s the same message Toyota received.
If they rebadged the Indian 4 door Jimny they’d print money.
and it has all the electronic bells and whistles you could ask for
Man this dude has a very punch-able face.
Ladies and gents. We have found the EV equivalent of the Altima. All Vinfast needs to do now is partner up with subprime predatory lenders to make it official.
Yes, but...no. It’s the 2020s and automotive engineering is taught in college and grad school, there’s nothing that’s hidden anymore. And Tesla, just like every other auto manufacturer, is free to purchase their competitor’s vehicles and reverse engineer everything they need for their vehicle.
Boring ass Toyotas are still reliable. I put 120k on a Prius with just oil changes, wiper blades, cabin filters, one set of tires, and a set of rear brake pads and fluid. I only got rid of it because it was side-swiped and that totaled the car out.
That’s an extremely Tyler Hoover sentence.
Please direct me to where I can pick up a $300 Breitling.
Correct answer, lock thread.
Toyota/Lexus body on frame SUV. One of mine has 350,000, the other is at 200,000 and i have zero concerns about it making it to 250,000. Land Cruiser, GX, 4Runner, LX, etc. If its a model made in Japan, you can count on it going the distance. Tundra, Tacoma, sequoia and other American/Mexican made models come in second…
Huh?
Toyota 4Runner. Hell buy one that already has 250k on the clock and it will still probably outlast most other stuff on the road brand new.
plus early scene has a kharman ghia, which certainly doesn’t fit criteria for this topic.
Easy: 4 Runner.
4runner is closer to my price range.
2024 Honda Ridgeline. It’s a pretty good buy in today’s market, a great all-arounder that you’ll be happy living with day-to-day for the next 20 years, reliability to back up the longevity, great ride, decent mpg for what it is, one of the best for ice/snow conditions, one of the safest, etc.

If finger tight is good enough for me then is should be good enough for the picky buggers at the FAA.
