Double pits to chesty is basically the equivalent to scrubbing in for surgery.
I just came here to hate on jet skis. Or water cockroaches as we call them.
My favorite boat launch story.
I’m willing to bet good money that these stupid fuckers backed the car to the point where the water reached the bottom of the rear doors or higher, and and it started floating, and then it showed them the warning, and they got out while the car was floating away.
Legit speculation, this is America.
I do have that close quarters battle experience, and I hate the idea of people with full-time day jobs trying to do it. However, and it’s been a while since I took aero, I’m not sure I care all that much about putting a 9 or 10mm hole in a jet that’s only pressurized to something like 11-ish psi. I just don’t think…
In a way, the people who really want to sign up for this are the first ones I’d be leery of.
I have a decent amount of experience with firearms but would never consider using one in extremely close-quarters combat situation, especially in a pressurized jellybean in the sky full of people. How is it a good idea for someone who is likely not highly trained (a 1 week course doesn’t count) to have one on an…
One of the fun parts of riding the 690 is the “low” end torque available. Low being relative - it’s still at 6500 rpm, but that’s 1500 rpm sooner than this new Duc, and the 690 also makes 8 lb/ft more.
Multiple cars * Out of money + Spent what he had on crappy after-market mods / Deferred maintenance = Crack Pipe.
No no no no no no no.
The M on the back and the stripes on the grill make this an immediate ND for me.
I think what the commenter is getting at is by taking this deal, you’re waiving your right to the first 1,400 of any payout from the lawsuit. So for example, if the lawsuit payout ends up being $100, its effectively like GM paid you 1,300 to take this deal, and gave you an advance on the $100 you would have eventually…
Soooo much this. You want to be the second owner; never the third or more. 😂
It’s a good price for what it is, bogus badging and questionable cosmetic mods notwithstanding... But it’s a terrible idea for anyone looking to replace a car on a $20,000 budget. You need to already have a semi-reliable car before you buy this thing.
Got some serious B.A.E. (Big Altima Energy) from this big BMW. That’s a CP from me.
The Tesla Semi lead image is misleading, I immediately started researching Freightliner Cascadia prices. FWIW a day cab comparable to a Tesla semi runs about $150,000 new.
This whole thing is so funny because it ended up going exactly the way every knowledgeable person predicted it would. It’s literally the automotive equivalent of NFTs and crypto.
“Will people still be excited enough about a seven-year-old design?”
