This is exactly why I still am interested in PHEV over BEV... power generation on-board, and range repeatedly extended by gasoline just like normal... but still electric only for the quick run to the store, or back and forth to work, without nearly as many engine cold starts and short, incomplete thermal cycles.

Cmon, Tesla’s is the king of adding a bunch of dumb shit that people never use or really care about. I.e. gullwing doors are way more trouble than a normal door, stupid party mode or whatever, easter eggs everywhere in the infotainment system like plaid mode, their MSpaint like app in the infotainment system, etc.

Silly them using the most popular type of vehicle as their flagship EV. Anyone would think they were looking for people to buy them.

In America, we’re still waiting for a reliable and expansive fast-charging network to really take on Tesla’s Superchargers. The Volkswagen Group is getting one built out, but it’ll take some time.

Anyone with a Porsche and a Tesla in their driveway now most likely already has an order set on a Taycan. They can’t wait to give up that hideous…

Tesla could not make it easier to carry a key for the Model 3.  It fits in any wallet or purse.  Not carrying one is stupid.
