It doesn’t matter if it’s software, hardware, or thoughts and prayers. You are talking about the “Remedy” for the recall. 2 separate things. This is a recall whether you like it or not.…

The term “Recall” is the piece of paper or online listing from NHTSA that says that something needs to be fixed. The fact that it can be done OTA or via physical visit is irrelevant, the fix is called the “Remedy”. So no, it’s not a hit piece. There is a recall. Period.

Incorrect. Pulling the handles shuts off fuel, hydraulics and electrical power. Push them back in and all the reconnects, engines can be restarted. What you describe requires the handles to be turned after they are pulled. That blows the fire extinguisher bottles and the engines won’t restart.
