Guilty. I have reservations for the Silverado and Lightning. Out of those I like the design of the Silverado better with the Avalanche mid gate, but I bet my F150 number comes up first.

Strange. My 3rd party finance was easy with none of that run around.
Tesla is a horrible example here. You see so many white ones because until a couple months ago everything else was $1-2k upcharge. They now have grey as a free color, but the only actual colors (blue and red) are $1.5 and 2k respectively.
My Tesla experience was easy, I wonder if it is a difference in financing. I made my initial order, a couple months later the app said it was time for the insurance, payment details, I filled that out (just my insurance company and policy number and that I was financing with my credit union) and they provided me with…
That fits right in with my Kia dealership impressions. Nice cars, but when I see someone driving one I wonder how they managed to put up with the bullshit long enough to actually buy a car.
No idea, I didn’t take his card, he wasn’t getting any money from me.
Lol. He’s terrible.
I just turned around and walked out the service door when he wouldn’t move.
I tried to buy one in early 2019. Then the dealer tried to mark it up $3k and add a $5k “lifetime warranty”. Add in the general scummy demeanor, giant sweaty manager blocking me from leaving and I wasn’t buying anything Kia after experiencing Dan OBrien’s bullshit.
You were so close to going full delusional maniac but missed out by leaving out “shorts”.
Bull shit. Cars are recalled all the time for reasons that don’t require them to be pulled from service. I had a recall on my Honda last year for a software update that could make the defroster and power windows stop working. The fix was exactly the same as these dumb Tesla recalls except I had to go sit at the dealer…
That may be how YOU define it, but it’s not how NHTSA defines it, and that’s what matters.
It happens. Honda had 0% on 2019 Africa Twins when I bought mine in 2020, I’ve seen them do it on other older models as well.
Come on. Some of those illegals, I assume, are good people.
Yes, Rivians use CCS. That’s not what I referenced, their chargers will only work with Rivians despite having CCS. So like I said, there are 4 different types of fast chargers, Rivians can use 2 of them, Teslas can use 1, Leafs can use 1, and everything else can use 1. Adapters can bridge a lot of those gaps, it still…
There’s more to it than that. While not proprietary, there are also Chademo chargers out there, and Rivian’s (I forget what their name for it is, but the ones by trail heads) chargers will only work with Rivians despite all having CCS or J1772. That’s 4 different types of chargers, none of them just plug in and work…
That would be great. The proprietary charging networks and incompatible plugs are crazy. It would be like me having to go to a Honda station to fill up my gas vehicle.
This is a good guide for everything automotive.
Wow. 7yr old story. Time to delete that Jalopnik bookmark.
