Wait wait wait. Masturbating while driving is a fundamental right. MAH FREEDOM!

Can we all get onboard with instant license revocation for anyone who gets their foot stuck like that, or accidentally mashes the gas thinking it’s the brake?

Looks like a robot smoking a cigar. Not Bender. Some other junky robot.

Isn’t anti terrorism in the Middle East EXACTLY the battle that the US has been fighting for the last 17 or so years? Sounds like it’s the right tool for the job.

I look at that front end and one thought comes to mind.

This is a great story with great pictures. Thank you for writing it.

About the only good thing I can say about getting older and needing glasses is that I have a lot less crap fly in my eyes while working on projects. I only remembered to put on safety glasses AFTER having something hit me, now I’m safe at all times.

I wish I had more stars to give.

I’d imagine so. Every time I’ve in LA I’m blown away by the number of Porsches I see. My neck hurts from looking at every one. Your city (heck, state even) is like a 24/7 car show.

I wish that was the case here in NH. My son and I were at lunch last week and looking through the window from our table 3 different people stopped and checked it out and took pictures of my 996. Then later we stopped at a motorcycle dealer and the salesman wanted me to take him outside to show it to him, then a few

Lol. FJs are awesome. I’d love to have one.

The way I see it is this. It’s just like Jeeps, people always say the last generation was the best, and some dig in their heels and stay at that generation. I understand the air cooled people not thinking anything water cooled is a “Real Porsche”, they won’t even like a 997 or 991. I remember 964s being junk cars that

Look at the wheels on that Escort! Love it. Good for him keeping that Escort in perfect condition.

I have a 996 C4 Cab. It drives great and gets way more attention than I am comfortable with. People stop and take pictures of it, ask me all kinds of questions about it, and want to race at lights. I’ve never felt unwelcome or had anything but positive comments at the Porsche gatherings I’ve been to either.

No Sylvia badge on it? No keyword spam? No mention of a welded diff? Fuck me, that thing is a unicorn. NP all day long.

Yes I have. I bought a 911 specifically because of those back seats. I have a 10yo son and he fits just fine back there, as does my 5’8” tall wife. I also looked at Corvettes, the lack of a rear seat killed it for me. Maybe when the kid gets older and moves out or outgrows the 911. I know a number of other 911 owners

Sure, no question, an M3 has bigger back seats but the point is the 911 is plenty big for kids in the back. I’ve had numerous BMWS, and they are fun, but it’s an entirely different driving experience from a 911.

Back seats are for kids, and it was one of the main factors that allowed me to buy my 996 vs something like a BMW. Someone 5’6” or so can sit behind another person of the same height without difficulty or discomfort for up to about an hour. That turns it from my selfish toy to something we can all enjoy and take out

Since when have the Germans been deterred by the French?

I want it in that digital camo/orange combo. I will buy one if available.
