Oh man. That’s exactly what Merchants Auto in Hooksett NH does. Credit Amnesty, President voices, etc. must be owned by the same people. Constant ads on the radi and TV. I hate them. The radio instantly gets turned off when their garbage comes on.

Your wife does convertibles right.
Ah, apparently the definition of the word *all* escapes you.
Can confirm. Have owned many convertibles, none can touch the one handed throw over my shoulder, and reach back and pull it back up of the Miata. Almost instant. The top on my old E36 was a close second, very fast and let me do it up to 30mph or so, but nothing beats my own arm for reliability and ease of maintenance.
This is a perfect graduation present. To teach that little sheltered bastard that the world is a cold cruel place that will hurt you.
My mother has one of these she got new in 2009 or so. It’s a nice car, pretty much what you’d expect if you’ve driven any VW recently. Drives well, does GREAT in the snow, and does have a pretty nice top down experience. And in response to the guy below who says they all leak. No, her’s doesn’t leak. At all. Never…
I proudly give you the 300th star.
NP, but even if it wasn’t, I love the idea of throwing a Ferrari on the curb with a for sale sign.
It’s a function of altitude and how much forward speed that the helicopter has when the engine dies. The helicopters over the Hudson and East river are flying between 500 and 1000 feet usually, they have almost nothing to work with in this situation. The general rule is when your engine dies look down between your…
It was the first thing I thought when I opened the article.
Your mom is great.
She’s a beefy gal to be a sportsbike.
You’d be surprised. They actually make decent tourers. It’s a lot bigger than something like a GSXR or R1.
The beginning is priceless.
Preach the truth, brother, preach it loud!
So you’re saying every production consultant is a member of the UAW? The ONLY people on the planet with knowledge of how to build cars properly are UAW members? Have you looked at a globe? You do know that cars made outside of the US and Canada, right? They don’t fly UAW members all around the globe and back to…
True, NUMMI has had plenty of quality vehicles come out of it in the past. Out there means the knowledge exists. They don’t need cad files for a GM product. They need to hire people who have built cars before, those people exist in large numbers “out there” in the world. Good panel gaps and not randomly flying on…
That argument would be valid if the knowledge to do car stuff properly wasn’t out there. They aren’t inventing this crap from scratch out of necessity. Car making is hard. Bring in people and processes that do it right and avoid the garbage that leaves Tesla’s plants.
Dunno what 996/Boxster owners you’ve been around, but as a 996 owner who knows others, we all shake our head at the dumb stuff the engineers did in our cars. No one thinks the IMS bearing was a good idea, nor the hood latch (although it’s worth mentioning that some years can still be opened with a cable that you can…
