We’ve flipped the compensation/necessity scale

There is work that needs to get done, but frequently the work that actually needs to get done isn’t the work that’s well compensated. We’ve flipped the compensation/necessity scale, which leaves the people doing important work poorly compensated and burnt out.

When I hear ‘defund’ it says to me zero dollars whatsoever toward policing because ‘defund’ has been sloganed by anti-choice nutjobs to mean that organizations like Planned Parenthood must close and receive no federal funding for anything, ever.
