Had pneumonia at Parris Island years back in boot camp. Was not fun, DIs didn’t give you any break, still trained. Got it again a few years after I separated from the Marine Corps, this time, it was combined with a collapsed lung and could barely walk a few feet without feeling extreme fatigue. Neither were fun times.
